The Festival is proud of its world-wide recognition and success celebrating the culture of Newfoundland & Labrador as it's done for over the past 20 plus years.
The festival's celebrations start with a parade through town. Traditional costumes and floats are on display with the R.C.S.C.C. Briton Sea Cadets taking the lead. |
Traditional Newfoundland music, fireworks, folk music, adult dances, a street dance, fireworks, bonfire, craft fair, games, a variety of fish meals, special church services, children's show and much more is the norm. | |
One of the most appreciated events of festival time is the return visits of family and friends that live away. There is no shortage of food, drink and house parties! |
*** If there's one thing you don't want to miss while visiting Newfoundland & Labrador this festival is it!
