The first play called SHANADITHIT is the tragic story of the last Indian of the Beothuk tribe of Newfoundland. |
Shanadithit's life is portrayed as well as the story of the Beothuk's last stand against colonialism.
The second, GEORGIE is the story of Twillingate's late opera star, Georgina Stirling, with stage name of Madam Toulinguet. |
The narration of Georgina's life gives us her humble beginnings in Twillingate to international stardom as a famous opera singer. The descent downwards as her voice permanently fails her is protrayed to give a vivid depiction of this uniquely interesting woman.
